Under An English Sky’s Podcast :: News!

Hello Lovelies! I’m back with some more news and this time it’s regarding my podcast that I started last year. I have to say that I had a lot of fun recording the first two episodes (which you can watch here and here) and I really had every intention of making it a monthly thing. However, at the time my intentions were there but I really was not in the right mindset at to commit the time and energy needed to put a podcast together each month.

I quite enjoy watching a good podcast while I’m ironing or re-skeining yarn, and watching Molly from A Homespun House‘s ‘Vlogmas’ series (which I missed over December) really inspired me to record my next episode. It was so effortless that I’m wondering why on earth I didn’t just continue recording each month, but I know I was adjusting to new ‘normals’ in our home what with coping with our move to Devon at the end of 2015 and with our eldest daughter graduating our homeschool and going to college. I just was not able to take on any major projects.

Anyhoo, this afternoon I decided to just sit down and record episode 3 of my podcast. I was a little apprehensive about doing so because I don’t have much to show in the way of knitting projects, but as you can see I still managed to fill 38 minutes with chitter-chatter. I like to try to keep my podcasts somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes because I know how very busy we all are. I hope that you enjoy watching episode 3 of Under an English Sky’s podcast. You will notice that I have a bit on my sidebar where I will display each month’s podcast so that it is easy to find and access.

Hope you enjoy this episode 😉

  1. Fun post and such good news for you with your yarn. I will buy some if I ever get into knitting, which I would love to do. Shawls. As I have said before. They seem so cozy and Avonlea, English and old New England and wonderful.

Your podcast is fun to see, though I did have to do rather a speed through; hoping to come back to it when I have more time. Do want that book, A Book of Feasts and Seasons. Wish I’d had it long ago.

Wishing you fun with your ventures!

    1. I only ever watch podcasts when I’m ironing – ugh! hate that job, or when I’m working packaging and labelling yarn. Far too busy outside of that time so I fully understand about speeding through LOL. You should definitely take up knitting Elizabeth, it would be a great pass time while you wait at various extra-curricular activities. I saw a post on one of my knitting FB groups, one of the ladies picked up knitting needles for the first time around December and she has already finished 3 pairs of socks! Amazing!

  2. I have been listening to you this morning while reading blogs, you are just up to talking about the ball bands! I am enjoying hearing you again and am happy to know that you are feeling more settled in Devon.

I love to hear from my readers and I appreciate each comment left. Please do comment if you have a moment, I try to respond to all comments left.
