A World of Colour

It is a BEEEAAAUUUTTTIFUL afternoon! The morning was pretty grey and yucky but the skies have opened up this afternoon. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the scent of spring is in the air. Right now I am sitting out on the patio chatting with you πŸ˜‰

Right next to me is a patch of wallflowers and they smell so amazing! Have a look…

Aren’t those colours just amazing! So pretty. One of the magnolias has just started blooming too…

and check out this little beauty…I have no idea what it is but isn’t it a joy to look at? And look at the sky! It really is that blue right now.

I’ve got some yarn drying on the clothes horse, I’m hoping to list it in my Etsy shop this evening…

And I’ve had a productive morning re-skeining, labelling and listing yarn…

Now one of my readers asked me to show some of my yarn knitted up. I wasn’t sure which one you meant Susan but I have knitted up a bit of my Black Forest Gateau colourway…

…and here is a picture of the socks I am knitting in my Daffodil colourway…

both are available in my Etsy shop, although there is only one left of the daffodil colourway and I don’t think I will be dying up any more of it – depends….

Anyhoo, I just wanted to pop in and share a bit of this glorious afternoon with you. Enjoy the rest of Thursday where ever you are πŸ˜‰

  1. Thanks so much for showing some of your knitted work. The yarn looks gorgeous! It must be so fun working with all those colors!!

  2. Brilliant! That looks like the kind of day we are having here in North Alabama. It is so beautiful that even our pets seem to be in a sort of reverie today.
